There is so much to explore around our hotel in Merano. Walking trails, mountains, lakes, rivers… and at least once a week, your hosts also put on their hiking boots and set off with you to explore new horizons.
The ideal season for hiking is late summer and autumn, but also in spring the pleasant climate of Merano and the impressive apple blossoms attract visitors to the outdoors. The varied hiking areas around Merano invite to enjoy comfortable or tough hikes. Thanks to its central location, Merano is an ideal starting point and base for hikes in the Ulten Valley, the Passiria Valley, the Vinschgau Valley and the Schnals Valley. Here, everyone will find something to suit their taste - walking trails to discover the city, promenades to enjoy the view, as well as mountain hikes to get a taste of the high-altitude air.
