Knottnkino³

General description
The newly-opened "Knottnkino³" circuit trail connects the three red porphyry rocks of Vöran. Starting from the Burgstall-Vöran upper cableway station, the trail leads to the three panoramic landmarks of Vöran: the Rotstein, Beimstein and Timpfler Knott.

Route description
Start in Vöran at the mountain station of the funicular on trail nos. 1 and 12 towards Hafling. At the Eggerhof turn right and follow trail no. 14A towards Rotstein Knott with its famous Knottnkino with great views from Bolzano/Bozen to Meran/Merano, and the new seating with views in direction to Vöran. Return to the Weberhof farm and continue along Schützenbründlweg, just before the fairgrounds turn right to new cinema "Attimo" at the Beimstein Knott. Return on trail no. 14 towards the Grüner Baum inn, continue to the Obertimpflerhof and then turn left to cinema on the Timpfler Knott with a shadow play called "wolf". Follow the marked trail back to your starting point in Vöran village.
